Brief

This client approached us to redesign her guest bedroom and give it the ORIGIN feel she resonated with, to create a boutique experience for her guests. She echoed our values in wanting to integrate handcrafted items into the space, and to upcycle some existing pieces of furniture. Another requirement was to introduce more storage for her clothes.

Approach

We created a scheme filled with rich, bold textures and colours to match her style. We sourced a number of handcrafted items to bring a homely, tactile feeling into the space.

Magic Touches

We were happy to salvage the tiles, doors and skirting. We also upcycled the chest of drawers.

We sourced a number of unique pieces including: Handwoven rugs, cushions, brass plates, a vintage chair.
